Callaway Epic Max Golf Driver

Callaway’s new Epic Max Driver is a truly remarkable feat of engineering, combining A.I Jailbreak and the new Speed Frame technology with the most forgiving Epic design ever created for ultimate long game performance.

Featuring a 460cc oversize profile, Epic Max is created based on the equation that Artificial Intelligence + Jailbreak + Speed Frame = more distance. This is all packed into an extremely high MOI, high launching driver that’s here to change the dynamic of golf club design forever.

Epic ball speeds begin with the innovative new A.I Jailbreak Speed Frame. Past iterations of Jailbreak architectures stiffened the body in a vertical direction to dramatically improve the strength of the structure which concentrated much more energy on the ball at impact. Now, this new structure is built to enhance horizontal and torsional traction too, providing both unheard-of levels of ball speed, but also unheard-of levels of ball speeds all across the entire face even on your worst strikes.

The Artificial Intelligence designed Flash Face is specifically engineered to optimise the new Speed Frame. The face and head geometry are extremely complexed thanks to the workings of Callaway’s super-computer which ensures every millimetre of mass is used effectively. To accommodate the massive levels of energy on the face at impact, new ultra-high-strength titanium is now used to deliver the maximum speed, forgiveness and spin robustness on every strike.

Epic Max delivers exceptional levels of forgiveness for all players. Its Triaxial Carbon Crown is redeveloped to save 18g of weight which has been redistributed to the furthest perimeters of the head for maximum stability through impact, while the CG location is pushed deeper and more into the heel for tighter dispersion, powerful ball flights with a draw bias and high launching trajectories.

To fine-tune Epic Max, a sliding 17g rear weight gives golfers infinite adjustability options to produce every ball flight. Combined with Callaway’s OptiFit hosel, Epic Max provides up to 20 yards of shot shape correction.
